Introduction and course goals

The main goal of this course is to promote the academic qualification of students with a degree in the field of Education, as well as candidates with other degrees, with a view to training staff with high technical competence in the specialization of Adult Education. With this course, trainees will be provided with the theoretical and methodological tools that allow them to develop internship projects, intervention projects and research projects within adult education, namely in the fields of community intervention, socio-cultural recreation, adult literacy, trainers training, recognition of prior learning and management, organization and funding of training.

Target Groups

This course is aimed at holders of a degree in the field of Education or other graduates in Psychology, Sociology, Economy, Human Resources Management, Sports, Nursing, Health Technologies with or without professional experience in the specialization area of the course. It may include a vast scope of professionals such as trainers, training managers, human resources managers, health professionals, teachers, socio-educational instructors, cultural recreation workers, and development agents.
