HR Excellence in Research at IE-ULisboa
1. Introduction
The Instituto de Educação da Universidade de Lisboa (IE-ULisboa) is committed to welcoming and integrating its researchers, promoting working conditions and professional development that foster high-quality, open, and responsible research. The Education and Training Research and Development Unit (UIDEF) is IE-ULisboa’s research centre. UIDEF reflects this commitment by offering all its members an environment dedicated to fostering a strong path of professional growth in line with high international quality standards, by promoting the integration of new researchers, and by encouraging the mobilisation of knowledge in the contexts of educational policies and practices.
IE-ULisboa adheres to the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, ensuring open, transparent, and merit-based practices.
These commitments are now being formalised through the application for the HR Excellence in Research award, granted by the European Commission following an independent evaluation process. In this way, IE-ULisboa reinforces its alignment with European standards of excellence and its active participation in promoting researchers’ mobility and visibility.
