Detalhe
This event takes place in the context of the European project Outstanding Newly Qualified Teacher Programme (ONTP), a Strategic Partnership Erasmus+ which involved five teams (Belgium, Finland, Portugal and the United Kingdom). The project recognises the need to support newly qualified teachers during the first years of their career (period of induction), and the existence of a variety of induction models/mechanisms in Europe. Besides the elaboration of tools to support the mentoring of teachers during the induction period, in the research dimension the project aimed at identifying intervention areas and recommendations at the level of teacher education policies.
More information about the project can be found here: http://www.ontp.org/
This event matches the conclusion of the ONTP project, and overall it intends to:
- Create moments of sharing and debate about policies and practices of teacher education and professional development targeted to newly qualified teachers;
- Disseminate the ONTP project and the conceived teacher education/supervision tools;
- Present some of the project’s research findings.
