DIM2ENSION – Digital supported Mathematical Modelling for Sustainability (in) Education

The DIM2ENSION project focuses on the development of mathematical modelling skills among lower and upper secondary school students and mathematics teachers. The project team brings together seven partners from five European countries, including four higher education institutions.
The project aims to: develop a web portal for teachers and a mobile application for students; design, test, and validate mathematical modelling tasks in various contexts of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, made available in multiple languages; develop and implement initial and continuing education courses for mathematics teachers; and conduct research and disseminate practices in digital-supported mathematical modelling, promoting the integration of sustainability into mathematics education.
